"Strange as it may seem, I still hope for the best, even though the best, like an interesting piece of mail, so rarely arrives."

daily reminder that the boy you’re in love with at 16 probably won’t matter when you’re 25.

daily reminder that the math test you failed your freshman year of high school probably won’t matter when you’re graduating college.

daily reminder that the problems you’re facing today may seem like the worlds end, but they will not matter in a year.

daily reminder that you’re going to be okay.

everything is going to be okay.

If you haven’t heard this today, I’m glad that you’re alive.

"Someday you’ll find the right person, and you’ll learn to have a lot more confidence in yourself. That’s what I think. So don’t settle for anything less. In this world, there are things you can only do alone, and things you can only do with somebody else. It’s important to combine the two in just the right amount"

Paws for Skylar’s Cause

This is a young girl named Skylar who attends my mom’s church. Skylar is nine years old, and she is the brightest, sweetest, and most compassionate little girl. She has suffered from seizures for most of her life and though she hasn’t been confined to a wheelchair, she still has her rough patches. She suffers from severe anxiety and still has trouble walking; however, that can change.

A support dog would help Skylar in multiple ways in the same way a support animal helps others who suffer other physical, mental, and emotional ailments. (And aside from that, it would make her THE coolest kid on the block!)

Even if your donation is only a dollar or two, every bit is supportive if you can provide financially. If not, prayers are ALWAYS appreciated!

May God bless and keep you well. Thank you all so much. <3

Skylar’s cause has passed their first thousand!

Thank you all so much for donating. However, over $10,000 still needs to be donated! Please spread this around and if you can donate, even a little, every bit counts.

If Tumblr can get together $17,000 for a ball pit, I’m hopeful you can get $10,000 for a girl in need.

Thank you! <3

"So what? You failed your finals. You gained some weight. So what? You’re single again. You lost your job. So what? What now? You live. You try again. That’s what."

Your mother didn’t spend 9 months forming your body in her womb just so you could hate and destroy it.

I know you’re sad, so I won’t tell you to have a good day. Instead, I advise you to simply have a day. Stay alive, feed yourself well, wear comfortable clothes, and don’t give up on yourself just yet. It’ll get better. Until then, have a day.

A Sea of 4.5 Million Baby Blue Eye Flowers in Japan’s Hitachi Seaside Park

Hitachi Seaside Park is a sprawling 470 acre park located in Hitachinaka, Ibaraki, Japan, that features vast flower gardens including millions of daffodils, 170 varieties of tulips, and an estimated 4.5 million baby blue eyes (Nemophila). The sea on blue flowers blooms once annually around April in an event referred to as the “Nemophila Harmony.”

If you plan on visiting, the park offers a great English language flower calendar to help plan your trip. You can see many more photos of the grounds here. (via Bored Panda)

1. Your skin may never be perfect, and that’s okay.

2. Life is too short not to have the underwear, the coffee, and the haircut you want.

3. Everyone (including your family, your coworkers, and your best friend) will talk about you behind your back, and you’ll talk about them too. It doesn’t mean you don’t love each other.

4. It’s okay to spend money on things that make you happy.

5. Sometimes without fault or reason, relationships deteriorate. It will happen when you’re six, it will happen when you’re sixty. That’s life.
